The orchestra rehearses every Thursday from 7.30 – 9.30pm with a 15 minute break halfway through for tea and biscuits.
For this term we will rehearse at Roding Valley Hall which has finally reopened after refurbishment.
The address for Roding Valley Hall, Station Way, Buckhurst Hill, IG9 6LN. It is very close to Roding Valley Tube station. There is also plenty of parking in the adjacent Car park.
By Train or on Foot
From Central London take an east bound Central Line train destination Debden/Epping/Loughton and get off at Woodford Green Station. You will then have to change onto an infrequent Grange Hill via Woodford train with the first stop being Roding Valley.
The Hall is opposite the station.
There is also the W14 bus which goes from Woodford Station (Stop A) and stops at Monkhams Inn. From there you walk up Station Way to the Hall.
By Car
Coming from Epping Forest on Woodford Green High Road, turn left into Monkhams Lane (just past the Traveller’s Friend Pub) and then follow the road down the hill, past the cross roads with Forest Edge and across the bridge over the underground. The Hall is on the left just past Roding Valley Tube Station. The Car park entrance is just before the hall.
